Bjorn was once a member of the Dwarven Royal Guard and has many connections as a result. It was these connection that got Fae in to see the Monarch so quickly. What drew Bjorn to the Guard in the first place was a strong desire to help others and, despite retirement from the Guard, his desire to help others is what got him into the mess he is currently in. Bjorn’s recognizing what Fae is and her discomfort is what led to his offering a helping hand. Bjorn jokes that he helped Fae because of the stories he would be able to tell but he has other reasons as well.

If you were wondering where the metal went, it was up his sleeve the entire time. I’m steadily attempting to rebuild the buffer after completely depleting it over the course of my trip. I’ll hopefully have some good new with the next update. 🙂

Marie’s back to looking human, though she’s not exactly happy about that. I’m back with reliable internet for the next many months. I actually ended up with some internet access while gone but I figured it was better safe than sorry to say I wouldn’t have internet.
I really loved the top panel as pencils, but I don’t know about the final version. For some panels I prefer the pencils to the finished product and for other I prefer the reverse.
