Until this winter, snow actually covering the ground was something I hadn’t seen since I was a toddler. I hope my lack of snow-perience isn’t too obvious on all of these snow pages. Most of this chapter was completed before I got my first glimpse of what several inches of snow on the ground while it is sunny looks like. The thing that really struck me the most when I actually witnessed snow was the lack of shadows and how it uniformly coats everything in a sea of white. Snow is really interesting looking.
Edit: I received some really great advice about snow from a reader. This page and several previous pages have been updated with overcast skies and lighting.

I’d let you know how you’re doing with the snow, but I haven’t seen snow up close in 11 years (almost exactly). 🙁
Seems to look pretty good, though.
11 years a long time. Do you miss the snow any?
And thanks! 🙂
A little. There are, of course, numerous advantages to not having to deal with snow on the roads and walkways every year, but I don’t care what they say, you’re never too old for snowball fights.
I wonder if that statement will appear in any form in Page 214…
I’m not so sure about page 214 but there are a few upcoming pages I think you’ll enjoy 😉
